I just got a message from a friend that I had a sort of, falling out with, shall we say.

I decided to go to sleep early last night for once as I had to get up early. This is what happened..

1.10am* 1.25* 1.30* I can't get comfortable.
1.50* 2.10* It's too hot, so I take off the blanket.
2.22* Now i'm too cold, so I put it back on.
2.35* Sirens.
2.47* I.can't.stop.thinking.
3.05* 3.15* FFS Stop thinking!
3.30* I get my Ipod and put on the loudest heaviest song I have, turn it to full volume and press repeat. It works briefly. The crashing of the drums and the sceaming vocals take up everything so there's no room left to think. I'm still awake though.. =\
3.59* I am exhausted. All I want to do is sleep. I don't want to dream, I don't want to think. Just sleep. I need to relax. I can't relax. I'm too stressed. I need sleep, I have work in the morning. I start crying. Because I need to and because maybe i'll just cry myself to sleep..
4.30am* Well, it didn't work. I'm still awake. Fuck.
4.46am* Finally manage to fall asleep somewhere around here.

So yeah that was my awesome night.

I ran out of strawberry jam this morning so this afternoon after my interview had finished I bought a new jar. Got home put it in the fridge. Couple hours later and I go to make a jam sandwich. I can't get the lid off the jar. There's no one home. As i'm struggling to get the stupid lid off It slips out of my hand and lands hard on my right foot smashing everywhere and cuts my foot. :( Hurt like a fucking bitch. So now I have a stupid big cut on my foot. And no jam :(

Oh. I got the job at maccas but I won't start til week after next. So i'm stuck at Hj's til then.

I don't think I can do this. I think it's all just a bit too much.
I want to go back to living with my dad and not having to worry about how i'm going to pay the rent next week.
And I want to go back to sleeping in my own bed in my old room.
And not having to hear sirens 3 times a night.
And I want to go back to when my biggest problem was what to watch on tv..
I don't want to grow up..
I'm not ready to be an adult yet. :(

I need Pride and Prejudice right now.

Things to do before 30!

When I was in grade 12 after all our exams were over and we were just about to finish my teacher gave us this task to do. First he made us watch The Bucket List.
Then he had us write a list of things to do before we 'Kick the bucket'

I thought it was a pretty nifty idea and It's kinda stuck ever since.
My list has changed a bit from when I first wrote it though and i'm sure it'll continue to change.
Here's what it looks like at the moment..

Things to do before 30!

1. Live in a big city like New York. Even if it's only for a short while, just to feel the difference.
2. Write the perfect song. (I know it's cliched, but it's something every musican wants to achieve.)
3. Couch surf around the world.
4. Learn French.
5. Ride an Elephant.
6. Learn to surf!
7. Bungy jump. - Done!
8. Learn to play the piano properly.
9. Write the novel I know is inside me..
10. Go to a nudist beach and get naked. - Done!
11. See Death Cab For Cutie live. <3
12. Have a family.
13. Pick an apple straight from an apple tree.
    

So that's just what I have so far..
It's fun and I want you guys to make one too.

Got woken up at 7.30 this morning after only getting 3.5 hours sleep by Hj's telling me not to come into work today, but to come in on monday instead.

One of my best friends from high school told me she's pregnant today. I couldn't believe it.
But i'm so happy for her. She's moved back home so I deffinately have to catch up with her when i'm there.

I moved because I thought it was what I needed.
It turns out I couldn't have been more wrong..

I left when I should have stayed.
But now, I have a chance to somewhat fix that.
I can leave instead of staying.

If I don't, then there'll always be this little voice in the back of my mind that says 'What if.'

I guess i'm just well and truely following my heart on this one.
He's kinda a big deal and the truth is, I don't want to be away from him any longer..

And if things don't work out I can always just come back home.
I will plan it a bit more though than when I came down here.
And i've weighed the pros and cons..

I guess I should start sorting things out then..

Good old days..

Hello possoms!

I spent alot of time with my Grandma when I was younger.
Mainly due to the fact that Dad was always in the paddock or working in the shed.
So my brother and I would play the piano or play bored games or doing puzzles.
I love her garden, I'd always be helping her pull out all the weeds.
She founded my love of tea, faries and reading.

One of the best presents I ever got when I was little was a set of books from her and my Grandad.
But they weren't just any books, they were all my favorite stories.
Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The velvetine rabbit. And they were personalised!
I was IN the stories! It was so awesome.

I'm planning on doing the same thing for my children. =)
